Vintage Convertible
This Riley RM Series is an executive car which was produced by Riley from 1945 until 1955. The RM series was originally produced in Coventry, but in 1949 production moved to the MG works at Abingdon.
Design and Features
This four-door saloon car has a wheelbase of 114 inches and a track of 48 inches. It has a 2.5-litre with four-cylinder engine twin camshafts. The engine is mounted on rubber bushes and is connected to a four-speed manual transmission with synchromesh on the top three ratios. The car has independent front suspension using coil springs and a live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs.
